Protecting the clientI definetly believe in protecting the client. I had a person who is supposed to be representing
the client call me today and ask if I would write a letter to FHA stating that a house I inspected was safe to live in. Well
at the inspection there were some very unsafe issues. This is one; The electrical conductors(wires) coming from the street
pole are frayed and about to touch the mast( the pipe up from the house). Well the next fuse is on the pole 3 blocks down.
If that wire touched the mass there could be a minor exlosion or severe shock to a person. The current residents should
fix it while living there because they are in unsafe conditions. Pretty clear on the report. Yet he still asked. Watch out
for anyone working for you the client who cares about your safety.

Smoke DetectorsFound one of those smoke detectors with the sensor painted over in a house i inspected yesterday.
Never would have known unless it was tested with smoke check. Pushing the button gave a false activation. Watch out
for those, if you don't have smoke check test it with a lit cigarette or incense. J.

New Home InspectionsWow, Just inspected a new home last night. Just goes to show
that even new home need looked at. Electrical panel wired unsafely, and siding completely unproffesional and needs to be redone.
